Far East Teams Up with Nantong Electric Power Design Institute to Sign the Technical Strategic Cooperation Agreement

    Recently, Xu Jing, an investor, Senior Director and Principal of Wire and Cable R&D Department Ⅲ of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Smarter Energy”, stock code: 600869), and engineers of R&D Department paid a visit to Nantong Electric Power Design Institute to carry out technical exchanges, and signed the technical strategic cooperation agreement. Li Longfang, Dean of Nantong Electric Power Design Institute, and the Director Zong Qiang received the guests and attended the symposium.

    In the spirit of achieving “honest strategic cooperation and win-win result”, Xu Jing and Li Longfang, representatives of the two parties, signed the technical strategic agreement to promote various technical exchanges and researches on the technologies and products related to new transmission grid, and establish a long-term strategic partnership.

    During the symposium, Xu Jing elaborated on the businesses, the operation status and the development goals of Smarter Energy. She pointed out that Far East Cable Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Far East Cable”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Smarter Energy, adhered to the core value of “to be faithful and pragmatic, to innovate and create excellence, and to be harmonious, flexible and pursue win-win”. By implementing high-end, integrated and international strategy and optimizing and adjusting industrial structure, Far East Cable, with solid technical force, has improved the quality and efficacy and enjoys obvious advantages in the design, development and manufacture of Wire and Cable and after-sales services. The strategic cooperation aims at enhancing mutual exchanges, complementing advantages, promoting comprehensive industry-university-research cooperation, and achieving win-win results.

    The Dean, Li longfang, highly praised the achievements made by Far East and the operation philosophy, management and technological innovation of Far East. He believes the two parties could make extensive exchanges in the common fields, and conduct an in-depth cooperation in such aspects as overhead conductors, design and development of overhead insulated power cables, and construction and operation. The director Zong Qiang said, through multiple communications and exchanges, he was impressed by the high standard of Far East Cable's technological innovation. Last year, the Design Institute won second prize in Hubei Chanling-Shixi 220kV Double-Circuit Transmission Line Design Contest, thanks to the Aluminum High Conductivity Alloy Core Aluminum Stranded Wire designed by Far East Cable. He also hoped that both parties could release more new products of similar circuit design.
