The Preliminary Contest of National Extrusion Molding Worker Competition in the 2nd Competition Area

      After lasting 5 months, the preliminary contest of the 3rd session of “Wuwei Cup” National Wire & Cable Manufacturer (Extrusion Molding Worker) Vocational Skill Competition (“National Extrusion Molding Worker Competition” for short) in the 2nd competition area ended formally. On September 19, the commendation meeting of National Extrusion Molding Worker Competition in the 2nd competition area was held in Harmonious School Hall of Far East University.

　　 In the meeting, Wang Chuanbin made a retrospection and summary for the preliminary contest work in the 2nd competition area. Compared with the previous industrial vocational skill competition, the organization was more thorough and publicized more widely this time, with number of registered people more than expectation, which accounted for 43% of the total nationwide registered number, so it became the largest competition area throughout the country. By means of publicity board, bulletin, banner and by channels such as web portals for cable and WeChat public platform, organizing committee built strong publicity atmosphere with efforts, and also carried out mobilization working in virtue of strengths of associations such as Jiangsu Optical & Electric Cable Industry Chamber of Commerce, Suzhou Optical & Electric Cable Industry Chamber of Commerce, and Yixing Wire & Cable Association. Meanwhile, enterprises of all sites for competition paid high attention to it and organized theory test and actual operation training in all directions, and organizing committee organized it elaborately, then the competition was ensured to be just and fair. He indicated that, by this preliminary contest, we deeply realized the necessity of training technical skill-oriented, composite skill-oriented, and knowledge skilled-oriented talents according with the development of wire & cable industry and also further promoted and improved the technological innovative ability of Jiangsu wire & cable enterprises and talent quality, constantly improved industrial professional team quality and product manufacturing level.

     Then, Director of Preliminary Contest Office Meng Xiangbo read out the commendation summary, and all leaders of organizing committee commended the winners of the first, second, third prizes and Excellent Award from the preliminary contest of National Extrusion Molding Worker Competition in the second competition area, as well as excellent referees, outstanding workers, Excellent Organization Award, and Special Contribution Award.
