Jiang Xipei Participated in the 140th Anniversary of the Birth of Rong Desheng

     On the afternoon of September 16, the 140th anniversary of the birth of Rong Desheng and the first publishment ceremony for the second edition of Instruction of Humanity, sponsored by Wuxi General Chamber of Commerce, were held in Wuxi, and the chairman of CPPCC Municipal Committee Zhou Minwei was present in the conference and made a speech. The Vice-chairman of China Enterprise Confederation, the Vice-chairman of Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Secretary of the Party Committee, Board Chairman, and CEO of Far East Holding Group Jiang Xipei was invited to attend the commemorative activity. He commemorated the sages and talked about the provincialism with the group of Rong Desheng’s grandson Rong Zhijian, as well as Rong family members at home and abroad.

      In the conference, the Vice-Chairman of ACFIC, the Chairman of Wuxi General Chamber of Commerce, and the President of Hodo Group Zhou Haijiang presided over the commemoration. Mr. Rong Zhijian, the principals of CEHS (Chinese Economic History Society) of Jiangsu Province, Municipal Society for Sustainable Development, Municipal History & Annals Office, Municipal General Chamber of Commerce, and Guwuxuan Publishing House, etc., comprehensively retrospected the whole life of Rong Desheng, respectively from the respects of Rong family member, expert, entrepreneur and publisher, especially for his spirits of tenacious entrepreneurship, serving the country worthily by industry, satisfying native place in return shown from him as a famous patriotic industrialist, and spoke highly of his contribution to our national industry and unrimitting efforts to make nation prosperous and strong.

      After the conference, at the mention of the experience of participation in the commemorative activity, Jiang Xipei indicated that, Rong Desheng’s road of starting business and his legendary experience of his whole life, were the concentrated reflection of immortal entrepreneurship in violent change in the modern history of China. The Chinese industrialists should inherit the entrepreneurship created by him, learn, inherit and carry forward Mr. Rong Desheng’s management essence and philosophy of life.

     This commemorative activity specially republished the book Instruction of Humanity presided over by Rong Desheng to compile 85 years ago, which played an very important role in inheriting ancestors’ idea of being pragmatic and valuing industry, and serving the country worthily by industry, as well as the feelings of concern on hometown and bringing benefit to native place, inheriting and carrying forward fine tradition of ancestors.
