Jiang Xipei Chaired the 4th Meeting of the 2nd Term Council of Wuxi Private Enterprises Association

On March 12, Wuxi Private Enterprises (Entrepreneurs) Association and Wuxi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises held the 4^th meeting of the 2^nd Term Council inWuxi. Vice Mayor Wang Jinjian, heads of Wuxi Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and Wuxi Federation of Industry and Commerce, Director of Wuxi Private Enterprises Association and President of Hodo Group Co., Ltd. Zhou Haijiang, and Jiang Xipei, Executive Vice Director of Wuxi Private Enterprises Association, and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Far East Holding Group, along with more than 300 entrepreneurs or representatives, gathered together to discuss the new economic development in the first year of the "13^th Five-Year" Plan in Wuxi. At the meeting, Li Xing, Chairman President of the Board of Directors of Jiangyin Chengxing Industrial Group Co., Ltd., and Executive Vice Director of the Association, summarized the Association work in 2015 and reported the work plan for the following year. Secretary-General of the Association Sun Jianye made an annual financial report of the Association for 2015. Zhou Haijiang interpreted General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Construction of New Relationship between Government and Enterprise That is "Close to People" and “Uncorrupted” for the participating entrepreneurs. Professor Qian Zhixin fromNanjingUniversityexplained the new role played by innovation-driven development in the new economy.

Vice Mayor Wang Jinjian fully affirmed the role played byWuxiprivate enterprises and entrepreneurs as backbone in economic development. Combining the major work ofWuximunicipal government in 2016, he publicized the relevant policies and measures ofWuximunicipal government in promoting modern industrial development. He hoped the private enterprises, as the main force of economic development inWuxi, to take heavy responsibilities in the development, becoming a supporter to steady growth, and leader in innovation, development and an open transition, as well as a demonstrator for social responsibility to build a beautiful newWuxiwith joint efforts.

After hearing the interpretation of the policy publicity and implementation, and government work report by Deputy Mayor Wang, Jiang Xipei said that private entrepreneurs should thank the era, and thank the great concern by the Party and the government over private enterprises; General Secretary Xi Jinping’s comments and speeches on the development of non state-owned enterprises has made private entrepreneurs deeply perceived many opportunities for their own development with a huge space, while private entrepreneurs need to truly meet the requirements put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping; non-public economies need to accurately grasp the development trend of China's economy, boost confidence about the development, enhance their overall quality, improve business management system, stimulate entrepreneurship, exercise entrepreneurship, and strengthen the inherent vitality and creativity. As Jiang Xipei has pointed out, entrepreneurs should run law-abiding operations, and can only firm belief and strengthen confidence through making clear about direction, making due contributions to the economic and social development.
