The Lunar New Year's Day, which is celebrated by the whole nation for family reunion, is coming. On the afternoon of Feb. 1, representatives from all walks of life got together in Yixing Poly Theatre, attended the symposium welcoming the New Year, which was held by municipal party committee and municipal government. Municipal Party Secretary of Yixing, Director of NPC Standing Committee Wang Zhongsu, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee Zhou Zhongping, member of the Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Mei Zhonghua, Deputy Mayor Wu Qingfeng and other municipal leaders rang out the old year and rang in the new year, talked about development with everyone. Wang Zhongsu said that, in the past year 2015, faced with the severe and complicated macroscopic situation, arduous and sundry developmental task, the whole city united minds, spared no effort to struggle, with extraordinary tenacity and measures, as well as wisdom and courage to solve problems and overcome difficulties, withstood tremendous pressure of descending economy, kept good momentum to seek improvement in stability, created exciting development performance.
