Ten New Products of Smarter Energy Pass Appraisal

Recently, the "2018 Far East Cable New Product Appraisal Meeting" was held by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu in Yixing. At the meeting, ten new products submitted by Far East Cable Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Far East Cable"), a subsidiary of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. ( hereinafter referred to as "Smarter Energy", stock code: 600869), passed the appraisal. The flexible cable for mobile power stations with rated voltage of 35kV or less and the low-loss communication cord reached the international advanced technical level, while the other eight new products reached the domestic leading technical level, winning unanimous praise from experts of the Appraisal Committee, government leaders and key customers.

The Appraisal Committee is composed of nine industry experts from units like the CIGRE Study Committee B1 (Insulated Cables), Xi'an Jiaotong University, East China Architecture and Design Institute, and the National Centre for Quality Supervision and Test of Electric Wire & Cable . Wu Changshun, Deputy Director of the CIGRE Study Committee B1 (Insulated Cables) and a professor-level senior engineer, served as the Chairman of the appraisal meeting. Wang Chuanbin, an investor, Deputy Chief Supervisor of Smarter Energy and the Senior Consultant and Chief Expert of cable industry, Zhu Changbiao, an investor, Director and Deputy General Manager of cable industry and Senior Deputy General Manager of Far East Cable, Xu Jing, an investor, Senior Director of cable industry and General Manager Assistant of Far East Cable, and other company leaders, relevant research and development engineers of the technical research institute, and leaders of relevant departments attended the appraisal meeting.

Ten new products passing the appraisal include:

Flexible cable for mobile power stations with rated voltage of 35kV or less;

Low-loss communication cord;

Intelligent monitoring loop network power cable;

175 ℃ high temperature resistant connecting flexible cable for new energy vehicle;

Power cable for crosslinked polyethylene insulated water photovoltaic with rated voltage of 35kV or less and the shallow power cable;

New-type flame-retardant safety and environmental protection cable;

Cable reel for shore power system with rated voltage of 3.6/6kV-12/20kV;

High flexible towline cable with rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below;

Variable frequency cable for wind power with rated voltage of 1.8/3kV or less;

New flame-retardant and environmental protection rail transit ring network cable.

The "flexible cable for mobile power stations with rated voltage of 35kV or less" adopted unique structural design, self-developed sheath material featuring low temperature resistance, oil resistance and flame-retardant and three-layer co-extruded rubber extrusion technology, which solved the difficult problem of thick insulation technology for soft structures, and achieved superior performance of flame retardant, oil resistance, low temperature mechanical performance, constant tensile strength and electrical performance, meeting the requirements of mobile power stations and other applications.

This products has been tested by Intelligent Service and Technology Co. Ltd., and the indicators for the test met the requirements of Q/320282DCE132—2018 Flexible Cable for Mobile Power Stations with Rated Voltage of 35kV (Um=40.5kV) completed according to the international advanced standard ICEA S-75-381/NEM WC-58 and other standards. The product was highly praised by users after being put into operation.

At the appraisal meeting, experts listened to the report of the Far East team, reviewed the relevant materials and inspected the production site, and then unanimously agreed that the new products pass the appraisal. Experts said that the ten new products submitted by Far East Cable were highly innovative and environmentally friendly, and their research and development results could meet users' requirements and potential needs.
