Reclusive Island of Far East Marked the End of the Large-scale Public Advisory Seminar of Child and Teenager Psychological Health Education of Yixing

    Initiated by Zhou Dongjiao, an investor, member of the Party Committee of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd., the Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Principal of Far East University, the very first public advisory seminar of child and teenager psychological health education of Yixing has successfully accomplished its three-day journey at Reclusive Island of Far East on July 1, as reported. Nearly 40 counselors from medical, legal and education industries were invited to participate at the event, sharing advice and guidance for about 100 families from Yixing.

    Shortly after 1pm, dozens of parents, along with their children, have already got their waiting number expectantly at the reception on the ground floor of Reclusive Island. Many of them have registered via Wechat in advance and others were attracted to the event after receiving text messages from “School Information Notification Platform”. It is widely-agreed that children show minimum understandings towards parents’ dedication of time and energy on their lives and education and that “child education” has become the main issue of family confrontations. Parents are delighted to attend this public advisory seminar and in the meantime, to consider investing in apartments close to good schools for their children’ education and future lives.

    Far East Group has long been developing its industrial, educational and charity businesses in parallel. And public welfare and charity activities have continuously helps Far East to fulfill its social responsibility. Starting from 2017, Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Far East Philanthropic Foundation have issued the Regulations for the Implementation of Far East Education Scholarship, with the aim of stimulating Yixing’s education industry. Since then, Far East Group Co. Ltd. has donated RMB 120 million to the Far East Philanthropic Foundation and set up Far East Education Scholarship for outstanding teachers and students in Yixing, which largely boost the development of education industry in Yixing. Aside from education, this public advisory seminar also focused on teenager’s physical and mental health status and development. A public service platform for psychological health of the youth was established, providing effective communication channels and relevant services.

    Parents’ feedback show that the majority of participants were actively involved in the conversations with the professional counsels, and their kids were encouraged to speak up and work out a way to try exchanging ideas and thoughts. Parents are grateful and looking forward to attending more relevant events in the future.
