Wuhan Wire & Cable Quality Joint Improvement Action Conference was held on May 19th. Representatives of eight units—Wuhan Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, Wuhan Administration of Industry and Commerce, Wuhan Commerce Bureau, Wuhan Urban and Rural Construction Commission, Wuhan Public Security Bureau, Wuhan Municipal Construction Group Co., Ltd., Wuhan Metro, State Grid Wuhan Electric Power Company—attended the conference. 91 cable enterprises representatives were invited, including the subordinate corporation Far East Cable Co., Ltd. (Far East Cable for short) of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (FESE for short, Stock Code: 600869), and signed Wuhan Wire & Cable Production and Operation Self-regulation. GanXingzhong, investor, FESE general manager assistant and Far East Cable senior deputy general manager, Jiang Huiming, invetor and FESE marketing manager, ShenZhongming, investor and general manager of Far East Cable Wuhan Hongshan Exclusive Co., Ltd. and Chen Liubin, marketing assistant of FESE Development Service Department attended the conference.
The Scene of the Conference
This conference aims at specifying wire & cable market order, strengthening wire & cable quality supervision of citywide constructional engineering, learning from “Xi’an Metro Problem Cable”, improving supply quality of wire & cable, cracking down on violations of inferior wire & cable, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
Gan Xingzhong speaks on the stage on behalf of nonlocal enterprises as the only representative
Gan Xingzhong signed Wuhan Wire & Cable Production and Operation Self-regulation on behalf of Far East Cable and made a speech onstage as the only representative of nonlocal enterprises.
Gan Xingzhong introduced overview of Far East Cable in terms of general condition, R & D, quality, marketing service and social responsibility at the conference. He pointed out that Far East Cable will continuously inherit enterprise spirit of “never meet, pursuit excellence” for serving society, sticking to Wuhan Wire & Cable Production and Operation Self-regulation, actively cooperating with the Wire & Cable Quality Joint Improvement Action.
He emphasized that current Far East has a sound testing method, applying tri-inspection system ("self-inspection, mutual inspection, special inspection” and “the first inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection), enhancing critical process quality control, exercising strict control over quality of products. Xiao Qiang pointed out that there are four problems in various degrees of wire & cable industry: First one, win a bid with price lower than reasonable cost is a widely existing phenomenon in construction project bidding; second one, insufficient duty fulfillment of enterprise dominant—the manufactured or selling supplied productsfor Wuhan of some enterprises have jerry-built, substandard, counterfeit problems; third one is the institutional dysfunction of engineering building materials check; forth one, regulation and supervision by sector has not made concerted efforts under segmented supervision mode. This conference aims at solving existing problems, sorting out Wuhan wire & cable market order, strengthening supervision of citywide constructional engineering wire & cable quality, improving quality of cable products.
The Wuhan Wire & Cable Production and Operation Self-regulation emphasizes that strictlyguard a pass of stock and quality, resisting application of “problem cables” for society and engineering, initiatively reflecting industrial quality problem and latent rules to government sector, purifying wire & cable environment together.
