Recently, Ministry of Science and Technology released the approved project list of 2015 China Torch Program and China Spark Program (Ministry of Science and Technology Document No. 436). Project of "Rated voltage 0.6 / 1kV modified super flexible mineral insulated fire-proof cable", implemented by Far East Cable Co., Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Smarter Energy; stock code: 600869), successfully enters China Torch Program.

China Torch Program projects, which are market-oriented home and abroad, are supported by national, local and industry scientific and technological research programs, and the latest results of technology research and development programs as well as other scientific and technological results. The project product’s electrical performance, mechanical properties, and fire-proof performance is better than traditional magnesium oxide mineral insulated cables and fire-resistant cable with mica tape wrapped, which is a fire-proof cable featured by new structure, advanced technology, good fire prevention performance, large carrying capacity, good flexibility, high corrosion resistance, easy installation and laying, and good safety. Currently, it has successfully used in China Telecom, China Development Bank, Nanjing Tongxi Estate, Qingdao Hisense Hitachi and other key projects. The high cost performance has drawn attentions from a large number of important projects and sites, with bright application prospects.
