School of Business Jiangnan University’s 2015“Far East Scholarship”Award Ceremony & Far East Holding Group’s 2016 Campus Recruitment Publicity Meeting Held Successfully

In the afternoon on November 19, the "Far East Scholarship" Award Ceremony at School of Business Jiangnan University and Far East Holding Group’s 2016 campus recruitment publicity meeting was held successfully at No.119 Lecture Hall of the School of Business, presented by Assistant President and Chief Administrative Officer of Far East Holding Group Zhou Dongjiao, Assistant to Director of Human Resources Department of Far East Smart Energy Wang Shuanshuan, Dean of School of Business Jiangnan University Teng Lefa, Deputy Director of Social Resources Department of Jiangnan University Zhang Wen, and Deputy Director of Student Financial Assistance Center of Jiangnan University Wang Lili. More than 60 scholarship winners in 2015 and student representatives for the previous scholarship winners attended the ceremony. The event was presided by Dou Xinhua, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Dean of the School of Business.

On the ceremony, Zhang Wen introduced the "Far East Scholarship" selection criteria and regulations, and Wang Lili announced the list of students who are 2015 "Far East Scholarship" winners, with Zou Ling and other 9 graduate students winning the "Far East Achievement Award", Xia Lu and other 9 undergraduate students winning the "Far East Endeavor Award". Zou Ling and Xia Lu spoke on behalf of the winners, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Far East Holding Group while at the same time saying that they would turn the honor into power to always "seek excellence without any satisfaction".

Zhou Dongjiao, on behalf of the Group, sent congratulations to the winner students, and inspired the students with the story of "Buddha and Steps" that there are no miracles but trajectories, encouraging them that where their hearts are, where the pay and success are! She said that cooperation between universities and enterprises are complementary, which is a positively interactive relationship. Both individual and corporate success is inseparable from adherence, and a success represents a gradual process of elimination. As long as one sticks firmly to the direction, the road towards a success is in fact not crowded. Her speech made the students on site to be benefited a lot.

On behalf of the School of Business, Teng Lefa, Dean of the School, thanked sincerely the Far East for the long-term support to the development of the School, strengthening the close cooperation with the School, and care to the students’ growth. He said the establishment of "Far East Scholarship" is a transfer of culture; in return, the School of Business will also build a platform and seek a sound development under the guidance of creating a brand concept, to provide intellectual support to the development of the Far East. Mr. Teng recognized, and sent congratulations to the winner students, as well as raised hopes to them from three aspects- "model and positive energy", "goal and vision", and "gratitude and reward"- urging the students to set much stricter standards on their future study life, and to transfer positive energy to other students by setting themselves as an example; to always have a goal and vision while have gratitude at the same time, striving to become elites of society.

After the ceremony, the Far East Holding Group held a "Relay 100" 2016 campus recruitment publicity meeting on the spot, where Wang Shuanshuan made a recruitment publicity speech on behalf of the Far East Holding Group; also, there delivered resumes on the site.

The successfully held "Far East Scholarship" Awards Ceremony has encouraged many students at the School of Business to courageously endeavor, and go ahead without fears. As a cooperative enterprise with the School, the Far East Holding Group has built a number of positively interactive platforms with the Scholl of Business, and established "Far East Scholarship" for years, boosting students’ development and talents cultivation; meanwhile, the Far East Holding Group is also an employment and intern base for the School of Business students, providing guidance for the students to enhance practice ability and career development. On November 15, the anniversary date of the School of Business, the Far East donated RMB 2 million to "Shang Xue Educational Fund", to support the School to further deepen the school-enterprise cooperation content, strengthen communication and exchange, and offer a powerful boost and continuing care to the development of the School and growth of the students.
